Apple Pie

Cinnamon, sugar apples served in a flaky pie crust!
Warm homemade pies that are gluten and dairy-free so that everyone can enjoy the holidays!

Makes 1 pie

Filling Ingredients:

6-8 apples (McIntosh apples)

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp white sugar

1/2 tsp vegan butter, on top of apples

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

1) To make the apple filling, put all the ingredients in a medium-size bowl, mix until the cinnamon and sugar have covered the apples. 

2) Fill pie crust with apples. 

3) In a small bowl, whisk an egg. Brush the egg along the edge of the bottom crust. Then place the top crust on top, pinching the sides together. Then brush more of the egg on top of the pie crust. 

4) Bake at 375 degrees for about 50 minutes. Bake until apples are tender and the crust is golden.
