 Protein Energy Balls

A perfect protein snack for families who are busy travelling with competitive sports. 

This is an easy snack that can be made ahead.

~ Gluten & Dairy Free ~

Makes 15-20 balls

Ingredients:

1 cup of dry gluten free rolled oats 

2/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips

1/2 cup ground flax

1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

1/3 cup maple syrup or honey 

1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter

1 tsp vanilla

Optional: 1/3 cup of raisons or chopped pecans.

1) In a large bowl or stand blender, add all ingredients and mix well.

2) Form into 1 tbsp balls. Makes 15-20 balls.

Store in covered container in the fridge for up to one week.

No baking required.

Tip: Try blending the oats for a smoother texture.
